Ximo | Joakim Stai

Who is Ximo?

Ximo is Joakim Stai, a 23 years young man from Norway who loves the web. I most of all enjoy working on frontend stuff – everything from usability issues and accesibility to semantics, CSS and jQuery – but I also code in PHP, and I'm interested in the semantic web and its technologies.

Drupal is my preferred framework for anything web related, and I've been getting increasingly more involved in the project. I've participated in usability discussions, and have created the nodeform and icon modules, the latter as a Google Summer Of Code student. Thanks a million to Google and Drupal for this opportunity.

I'm currently freelancing, but I dream of working for a nice Drupal shop. If you think you can help me there, don't hestitate to send me an email :)
 

Why "Ximo"?

It's the valencià counterpart of my given name. I learned this when living in the Valencia region of Spain, and quickly adopted it as my nickname on the web. Basically, Joakim › Joaquím › Químo › Ximo. It's pronounced almost like chee-moh.
